This Oakville kitchen renovation replaces dated maple cabinetry and a square-edged island with a mix of warm ivory, pale oak, walnut, and deep plum. The new oval island seats three beneath a pair of alabaster pendants, with clear aisles to the sink, cooking wall, and walk-in pantry. A sculpted plaster hood frames the rangetop, and bronze-framed glass doors reveal softly lit oak pantry shelves. Beneath the original twin windows, a new undermount sink and bronze bridge faucet sit in ivory quartz. Plain mushroom-coloured backsplash tile and large matte taupe floor tiles complement the original coffered ceiling.

Every renovation starts with the existing conditions at the property. Measurements, material compatibility, access, plumbing, electrical work, ventilation, structure, permits, and the construction sequence are reviewed before the final scope is confirmed.
